I am a graduate-level practicum student currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Alvernia University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027.
One of my priorities is ensuring that every individual seeking therapy feels safe and accepted in a welcoming atmosphere that respects their thoughts, feelings, and identity. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the counseling process, and I strive to build genuine connections with clients rooted in empathy and respect.
My counseling approach is primarily person-centered and trauma-informed, with a focus on meeting clients where they are and personalizing treatment to fit their individual experiences and goals. I value taking a holistic view of each client by recognizing the different factors that can impact emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life. I draw from therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support clients in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and working toward meaningful growth and change.
I have a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing challenges related to mood and trauma-related concerns. I am committed to fostering an affirming and welcoming environment for all individuals and proudly identify as an LGBTQIA+ ally.
